"Agent" from "US Treasury" and "Grand Jury-Criminal case" and when you ask them to identify themselves they hang up. They want to help you to help them to your finances. Scam

Called today, left message, something about magistrate court. Message was so low, could barely hear it. First of all if this is about the IRS, scam. The IRS only sends correspondence through the mail, never by phone call especially a cell phone. Never by email or text. Scam Scam Scam. I live in NYC and California has no jurisdiction over NYC.

I received a message from the noted phone # 479-3031 indicating I had failed to report for federal jury duty. There was a warrant out for me and to allow them to help me help myself. I have forwarded the message to the Washoe County (NV) Sheriff as a fraud call.

Left message. I called back and was told a warrant for my arrest issued for disability payments received fraudulently. When I said I didn't get disability, he then said I would be arrested for non payment of taxes. I told him he was crazy and he hung up. ITS A SCAM!!!

I received a call from this idiot this afternoon. I knew immediately that it was a scam. On this site I read many similar stories about the same thing there is also an extended list of numbers. How come the authorities don't put these imbeciles out of business? Their phone carrier should be prosecuted for allowing this crap to go on with shutting down their service.

A man with a foreign accent stating he was from US Treasury, was threatening federal criminal action before either the Magistrate Judge or the Grand Jury for committing a Federal criminal offense. He suggested I give a call immediately to avoid any trouble, he advised me to cooperate with them and "help us help you."

This is a scammer. They called saying they were the government and that they needed money wired to them. As soon as I asked if this was a scam, they hung up on me.
