The IRS only sends correspondence through the mail, never by phone call especially a cell phone. Never by email or text. Scam Scam Scam. I live in NYC and California has no jurisdiction over NYC.

I received a message from the noted phone # 479-3031 indicating I had failed to report for federal jury duty. There was a warrant out for me and to allow them to help me help myself. I have forwarded the message to the Washoe County (NV) Sheriff as a fraud call.
