Same thing responded to my Craigslist add about send check, never fall for this and NEVER deposit that that check he will get your bank information.

Like all the other comments, this person responded to a Craigslist add and offered to pay in cashier's check and wait until the check clears before pickup. They identified themselves as "Blair." Clearly a scam.

Responded to my Craigslist ad via text claiming that he wanted to purchase the item with a check and will wait until the check clears before item pickup. This clearly is a textbook scam similar to those mentioned on the Craigslist scam page (https://www.craigslist.org/about/scams).
This person responded to an advertisement I placed on Craig's List in the state of Connecticut. They wanted to purchase something I had posted and kept wanting me to send my full name and address to issue me a cashier's check for the item. They were very persistent and I just never responded any further. BEWARE!!!
Received a text from this number regarding a Craigslist ad. Person identified himself as Alex. He sent me tracking information for a package containing a cashier's check. He wanted to but an item I had listed. The check appears fraudulent.
