Robot message claimed the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and that I needed to call the number back. It's a bogus call. The IRS will not call 1st you will get MANY notices thru the mail before they call. They never threaten to call local authorities to arrest or do any actions against anyone. And they always give you a chance to appeal all actions they take. THIS IS A PHISHING SCAM. DO NOT CALL BACK!!!

I reported the call to the Cumberland County Sheriff's providing a copy of my voicemail message, a link to this page and links to Mcleod USA and their affiliated company Pac Tec. I am doubtful this will have any effect but in cannot hurt. I am still considering FBI notification.

There was more but i hung up and blocked that number. Already heard about how they are trying to scam folks ans i know for a fact i owe nothing to the IRS nor would they call
